I’m an Edinburgh-based writer in love with all things decorating. On a perpetual hunt for beautiful things and stylish living ideas, this blog is simply a way of documenting the ever changing mood board in my mind. Learning the journalist trade at The Scotsman newspaper, I have written for various publications including Glamour, Marie Claire and Wallpaper.com. but it was when I decided to broaden my horizons – literally – by moving to Cape Town and taking up the job as Features Editor for House & Garden magazine that my interiors journey really began. From checking out the most inspirational interiors to talking sofas, staircases and kitchen surfaces, the two years that followed were an education in design and decorating.
